Renaultsport present their new rally car R1 and R2, which are based on Twingo model and are equipped with racing packs. The first car is economical and suitable for beginner pilots, while the second is aimed at professional athletes. In addition they can be used in rally racing, both cars are licensed for use on standard roads as the price of the package for R2 is 27 990 euros and that the R1 has not yet been reported. Twingo Renaultsport R2 is equipped with 1.6-liter engine modification of RS, but its power was increased from 133 to 160 h.p. a maximum torque of 160Nm already reached. The unit is combined with five-speed manual gearbox whose ratios are changed by a lever on the steering wheel.
