Volvo tested the prototype of S60
The colleagues from Volvo had the opportunity to test new braking system of Volvo, which will use the next generation of model S60. Driving trial was conducted on the streets of Copenhagen (Denmark), and the car is very heavy camouflage. The video, which the publication has decided to share with us, which contains footage shows the ability of the onboard computer to recognize pedestrians and cyclists caught by the camera in the vehicle. Perhaps even a car can prevent accidents by taking the necessary maneuvers and actions. Used by the camera and radar system can detect objects larger than 80cm and the distance to 150 meters, but the best information available when the object is at a distance of about 50 meters.
We remind you that Volvo stopped producing the older generations of S60 in March, the new model will be launched in 2010.
