European Volkswagen dealers already take orders for a new modification of the sports hatchback Scirocco. The car carries the designation and the GT is driven by the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine which can be combined with 6-stage mechanical robot or DSG transmission. The same drive unit used Golf GTD, which the Germans made a month before. Engine power is 170 h.p. at 4 200 rev / min. and its maximum torque is 350 Nm. 1 750 rev / min. Scirocco GT is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 8.1 sec. and to develop speed of 222 kilometers / h, while average fuel consumption is just 5.2 l /100 km. mileage and CO2 emissions emitted – 139 gr / km.
Besides the standard equipment for the Scirocco, modification GT includes adaptive shock absorbers to road pavement, six airbags, stability system and 19-inch alloy wheels.
