Opel launches new special version of its compact model Corsa, which is called “Color Race” and was inspired by a rally car Kadett B Sprint, used for racing in the late 60’s and early 70’s of last century. The 3-door only version of the Corsa will be available under Color Race, as customers can choose between three options for the color of the cabin – Sunny Melon Yellow, Casablanca White and Magma Red. By Chevrolet have decided to demonstrate that their model Aveo can be a real beast. The company uses the exhibition in Detroit to present a concept demonstration Aveo RS, which “shed light” on the next generation of models. The concept is equipped with 1.4-liter turbo Ecotec, which supplies power 138 h.p. and a maximum torque of 200Nm. The gearbox is five-speed manual, and the combination between it and the unit provides both fuel efficient and excellent dynamics. Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept also boasts a large attractive grille and rear lights, which together with 19-inch alloy wheels, roof spoiler and two chrome exhaust tip of the system, embedded in a diffuser, giving a very aggressive type of car. Honda used the ongoing exhibition in Detroit to present his long-awaited sporting hybrid CR-Z, whose sales will start yet this summer. The car does not differ radically from his latest concept, which saw a showroom in Tokyo in November. CR-Z uses a hybrid drive system with a combined capacity of 122k.s. and a maximum torque of 173Nm.
