The new Nissan Micra

Geneva Motor Show hosted the world premiere of the new Micra. From the press release distributed by Nissan, it is clear that it becomes a global model that will be sold in 160 countries worldwide. Nissan Micra is built on the new “V-platform”, which is used by sub-compact crossover Juke, whose debut, also held in Geneva, and its appearance on the market is expected in the autumn. Dimensions of the new Micra is 3780 mm length 1665 mm width and 1525 mm height and wheelbase and is 2,450 mm. This means that the car is longer and wider than its predecessor, but also became lower. Compact model will be offered initially with three-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline engine, whose power is 80 h.p. and its maximum torque of 108 Nm achieved. Later he would receive the same aggregate turbo-version delivering 98 h.p. and 142Nm. Both Nissan Micra engine can be combined with five-speed manual gearbox or an all-new CVT transmission. In the list of additional features distinguish the parking system PSM, which has three levels (amateur, normal and expert), touch screen and glass roof.
