After award for Kia Soul at the end of last year, Forte was recognized by the American Institute in 2010 as the IIHS ‘Top Safety Pick’ model between cars in the middle class. The model is a successor of the popular Spectra, obtained from the honorary jury praised the endurance for front, side, rear impact and turning the car roof. “The Korean brand has enjoyed remarkable success of the U.S. market, thanks to the innovation of the product range and presentation to a wide audience of models such as Forte – a perfect combination of quality, price, style and security,” said Mr. Michael Sprague, Vice President Marketing of Kia Motors America. “Forte attracts youth with style, dynamic vision and an impressive list of security measures. Award ‘Top Safety Pick’ implies a stable market position of the Kia Forte in the future.” Tests faced by models participating in the test are divided into four categories – strength in frontal, side, rear shock and the latest – an assessment when reversing the car roof. The final score for each model is based on an assessment of overall performance in the contest. The presence of an electronic system, improving the stability of the road vehicle is required. In addition, Forte demonstrated segment-leading combination of measures for security and safety offered in series, and a rich standard equipment.
