Mini Cooper JCW with 260 hp

Mini Cooper JCWThe newly installed 211 horse, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h for 6.5 sek and maximum speed 238 km/h – Suggests that the hot Mini Cooper JCW, but German tuners from Nowack Motors obviously it is not enough. Specialists have developed two levels of engine tuning, which are available for the Mini Cooper JCW and Mini Cooper S, as a modification of the second set and level three, which almost equates power with that of the standard Cooper JCW. The programs are called N210, N230 and N260, but the numbers in their names indicated horsepower. In the first improvements is ECU-it and there is a new air filter, where the latter is replaced and the exhaust system. In the most powerful program improvements were made and the very 1.6-liter engine, was replaced camshaft and optimized style of the cylinder heads. Unfortunately Nowack Motors does not disclose what the dynamic performance after application of any of tuning packages.

Volkswagen revealed the electric Golf

Volkswagen GolfSooner or later, electricity will become a major driving force for car manufacturers and know that great. That is why they put a lot of money developing electric models. In the next few years the market will be introduced many production cars powered by electricity, one of which will be Volkswagen Golf Blue-e-motion, whose prototype was unveiled yesterday. To plan the first 500 copies should be delivered in 2011. But they are designed for specific customers who would test them by putting the model into mass production in 2013. Volkswagen Golf Blue-e-motion does not differ externally from the standard model, but under the hood hiding his electric power 115 h.p. and a maximum torque of 270 Nm., for which energy is supplied by the kit lithium-ion batteries. According to data from the German company, the vehicle can develop a maximum speed of 140 km/h and travels 150 kilometers. without having to recharge, which is enough for nearly all German drivers because they do not go a day more than this distance. On the occasion of the presentation of the prototype of Golf Blue-e-motion, the Government of Germany announced that it will stimulate the development of electric vehicles, with the goal in 2020.

New Hyundai Elantra will debut in South Korea

Hyundai ElantraOn motor show in South Korea, Hyundai presented the new generation model Avante, some other markets worldwide, including in Bulgaria, Elantra. Appearance of the model that best-selling product from the whole range of Hyundai, is the new stylistic forms of the company, with large oblong headlamps and rear LED lights. Currently still missing pictures of the interior of the new Elantra, but of the Hyundai argue that hall and equipment not seen in other compact models. For example, the car boasts a color information display panel of the tool, heated rear seats and interior ambient light. Under the hood of the Hyundai Elantra is 1.6-liter four-cylinder with direct fuel injection, which is 140 h.p. power and its maximum torque of 167 Nm achieved. Aggregate combined with six-speed automatic transmission and, according to Hyundai with 10 percent less fuel than its competitors.

Volkswagen will reveal the new Passat soon

Volkswagen PassatAccording to the information given by the popular edition Autobild, next-generation Volkswagen Passat will make its debut this autumn, probably at the exhibition in Paris. The car will be in the style of the new models of the German company – Touareg and Golf, which is to say predradiatorna horizontal grille with chrome strips, angular headlamps with integrated LED elements and tighter lines of the bodywork. Autobild of information shows that the new Passat will be available to almost all engines with direct fuel injection of the German concern. Basic will be a 1.2-liter turbine holding a 105 h.p. The other petrol engines will be 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0-liter, with capacities from 122 to 211 h.p. a range of diesel engines will consist of 1.6 and 2.0-liter generating 102 to 220 h.p. In addition, most units will be equipped with a standard start / stop system and technology for regenerating energy from the brakes. The car will have some changes in the style and the exterior, but mostly will be kept the same. The engine will be a little bit stronger, but more economy as the latest requirements of the customers.

First tests of Murray T25

Murray T25The Autocar British edition published the first spy shots of the ultra compact car Murray T25, which is being developed by the renowned designer Gordon Murray, became popular with supercar McLaren F1. The electric Volkswagen E-Lavida

Volkswagen E-LavidaThe future belongs to electric, and if a car company did not believe this, then do not expect anything good. That is why, most long develop such cars, some of them have already released their first models on the market, while others are still at the design stage. And talk about future vehicles, where without it for Volkswagen, which demonstrates its achievements in this field through electric concept E-Lavida, presented the exhibition in Beijing. Curiously, E-Lavida was developed entirely by Shanghai Volkswagen, with no absolutely no assistance from the German side.
