Peugeot 308 CC with new 1.6 HDi engine
The 308 CC is the first model of Peugeot, which used the new turbo engine 1.6 HDi FAP, meeting the European standards for emissions released Euro 5. The new power unit is 112 h.p. at 3 600 rev/min. which is just 2k.s. more than the current 1.6-liter diesel engine. By contrast, however, its maximum torque increased by 12.5 percent, from 240 to 270 Nm, again available in 1 750 rev/min. From Peugeot reported that compared with its predecessor, more than 50% of the parts of the new 1.6 Hdi engines are fully processed, resulting in reduced noise, fuel consumption and CO2 exhaust emissions. As present, the modification will be offered standard with a diesel particulate filter, whose lifetime is 180 000 km. With the new engine and six-speed manual transmission car accelerates from 0-100 km/h 12.2 sec and develop a modest maximum 191 kilometers per hour, but at the expense of the average of its fuel consumption is 5.3l/100km.
Peugeot 308 CC 1.6 Hdi is available in versions in the UK Sport and SE, as its price starts from 21 095 UK pounds.
