Dacia is a Romanian company decided to reveal the first SUV model in its history in a rather non-standard way. Is already known that his name will Duster, as the eponymous concept shown at the exhibition in Geneva in March. To promote the model of Dacia have created a special version of the Duster, which will participate in the competitions of the championship Trophee Andros, held in the ice, behind the wheel as the car will not sit anyone, a legendary racing driver Alain Prost Formula1. At the beginning of the week Romanians photo spread of that particular version and revealed details of the production model that will make an official debut at the exhibition in Geneva in March 2010th and will soon appear in the showroom of the company at a price of around 11 000 Euro . The car, which will compete Alain Prost, is equipped with 3.0-liter V6 engine, whose power reaches 350 h.p., but this unit will be available in the serial model. Dacia Duster will be available with petrol and diesel by 85 and 105 h.p. capacity as is available in a drive to the front and the four wheels.

Members of the forum daciaclub.ro was able to make pictures of the future SUV model of Dacia. The car has been developed on the platform of the Nissan Qashqai, having not yet clear when it will be placed on the market, but according to some publications that will happen this year. European version of the Renault Sandero Stepway, which will be sold under the brand Dacia, was officially presented by the company of the exhibition in Barcelona.
