The fuel efficiency of the vehicle is also a thing of beauty and the company is in the process of downsizing the engine capacity from the regular 2.2 and 2.0 engines to the 1.6 turbo. This is good news for all those interested in the vehicle especially with regard to the high fuel prices of the day. This is for the fuel engine though there is a diesel engine that comes with a 1.9 and 1.7 liter engine giving the consumer even greater choice as far as the Astra is concerned. The three door styling also takes the likeability of the vehicle to a new height and simply put the vehicle is quite comfortable. The fuel consumption in a used Vauxhall Astra remains as good as the latest models.
The structure of the vehicle is solid and this made in Germany vehicle gives the passengers and all in it an overall feeling of wellbeing as they zoom around in this vehicle. The cabin has all the standard features you would expect to find in any vehicle and they add to the comfort levels of those in it. Last but not least the Astra is fun to drive around.
