The Swedish company Saab has decided to introduce us to the facelifted 9-3 family who has received the designation 9-3 Griffin, the model will continue to be offered in sedan, wagon and convertible. The car differs from its predecessor with new bumpers, headlamps, grille and wheels, whose dimensions may be 16 or 17 inches. Moreover, when the sedan is already mounted spoiler at the back, where wagon occurred chrome trim rear. The interior of the Saab 9-3 Griffin is relatively unchanged, but there are new decorations decorative elements in high-quality synthetic leather trim and pockets for stowage on the side of the front seats. Engines, which has so far offered Saab 9-3 retains the same, but they have undergone several modifications, leading to increase their efficiency and decrease fuel consumption. Two-liters, petrol, turbocharged engine is again available in versions with capacities 163 and 220 h.p. In 1.9-liter versions TTiD again three, only the peak remained with power of 180 h.p., while the other has grown with 10 h.p. to 130 h.p. and 160 h.p. Furthermore, Saab revealed information about the Special Edition 9-3 Convertible Independence, which will be manufactured only 366 pieces.
