Smart cars have always been interesting and have attracted people’s attention, mainly because of its small size, combined with an attractive appearance. The company will introduce us to the future design of its models by an impressive prototype. The conceptual development Forspeed an electrical roadster who never go into production, but at the expense of some details and elements of it will see in future models. Smart Forspeed Concept is equipped with an electric motor delivering an output of 40 h.p., which can be extended for a further short 7k.s. through a lever on the center console. This allows the car to a speed of 120 km/h. The autonomy of the power concept is 135 km. But it is equipped with PV solar panels in the windscreen, which generate electricity and recover energy in batteries, which in turn increases the mileage. The interior of Forspeed Concept is quite simple, but can boast interesting design. These include for example the two elements to the driver and passenger, who serve respectively for information and entertainment.

Especially for our UK customers Smart launched a special version of the ForTwo. The car is called Edition HighStyle, is available only in coupe version, and its price starts from 10 900 pounds sterling. From ForTwo Edition HighStyle will be produced 215 copies, all of which will be in a color combination of brown and silver metallic. Version will be available with two engines with a power 71 and 84 h.p. Special Smart ForTwo is equipped with 15-inch wheels with 12 spokes design, gray upholstery in a combination of leather and cloth and leather gear lever and steering wheel, from which also can switch gears.
The standard equipment also includes car audio and navigation system, Pioneer, which has Bluetooth, iPod and USB connectivity.

The Smart model introduced in 2010 to mini-car ForTwo, which has been modified and optimized diesel gasoline engines. The 3-cylinder diesel unit, whose power was present 41 h.p. already has 54 h.p. 21% or more, and the maximum torque increased by 18% goals to 130Nm. This modification of the Smart ForTwo accelerates from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 16.8 sec, spend an average of 3.4l/100km and paid only 88gr/km CO2. The Gasoline engines of the model remained unchanged in its facilities, which are 61, 71 and 84 h.p. but on the contrary have been optimized to emit less harmful emissions and meet the requirements Euro5. The visual changes in Smart ForTwo is not apparent, except for the decorative elements in the interior.
