Being one of the main sponsors of the music festival “2010 Rock am Ring”, which will be held in June on the Nurburgring racetrack, Suzuki decided to introduce a special version of the Sport model Swift, on the occasion of the event. Suzuki Swift Sport has received the insignia “Rock am Ring” both outside and in the interior, which in turn can also boast a new multimedia system, including a Clarion navigation with 6.9-inch color display, 30GB hard drive, iPod adapter and more powerful speakers. The car is equipped with 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a power 125 h.p. allowing minicar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for 8.9 sec, which is quite good result for such small car and to develop a speed of 200 km/h with an average fuel consumption of 7.0l/100km. The low fuel consumption is quite much required by costumers, who are ready to buy such car. This is the main reason from the company to introduce the engine with low consumptions and high power, which is amking the car quite economical.

After a showroom in Tokyo in October was presented hydrogen Suzuki SX4 FCV, now the Japanese company has prepared a hybrid version of the model, which made a debut exhibition in New Delhi. This time the car is the work of the Indian division of the company, Maruti Suzuki, as has been developed with the support of local government programs and are likely to enter mass production by 2015. SX4 Hybrid is based on the sedan version of the model, but have made some changes to the bodywork, as the most significant is another cover, which is a transparent panel to see the internal combustion engine. Hybrid vehicle system consists of 1.2-liter petrol engine, 50-kilovatov electric motor and a set of lithium-ion batteries, and is combined with semi-automatic transmission, transmitting drive to the rear wheels. Although only a year ago, Suzuki introduced a new generation of market compact model Alto, the Japanese company to provide ongoing exhibition in Tokyo, his new concept. Suzuki Alto Concept differs from the standard model with a slightly modified front and rear extended, thanks to increased volume of cargo compartment. The concept has 3-cylinder gasoline engine with cylinder capacity 660 square cm. Which is combined with the CVT transmission. Alto Concept of dimensions are 3 395 mm in length, 1 475 mm in width and 1 535 mm in height and the distance between the two axes is 2 400 mm. Currently reported by Suzuki is not what their plans for the future of this concept and what is its purpose. Buying a set of used tires is a great way to save money and also be much safer on the roads during the bad weather months. I personally only install used auto parts in all my cars because the cost savings is so great. Suzuki Alto is fully compatible with Swift auto parts and tires.

Month ago in Las Vegas special exhibition opens doors for tuning SEMA Show. Suzuki presented there along with the SX4 WRC and Grand Vitara Dune, the new conceptual design SXForce. The car is based on 3-exchange version of the SX4. On the other hand, the new design is something like a bridge between car production and that of Suzuki motorcycles. Road Race Motorsports managed to transform a small Japanese car, put his 2.0-liter turbo with 250 hp max. power, coupled with 5-speed manual gearbox. All accessories fitting that Suzuki however come from the world of motorcycles, and amazing mirrors, double exhaust, black Alcantara seats, tools – everything is executed in the style of the two. The concept is quite interesting and the design of the car is really amazing.

On special event in Detroit, Suzuki introduced the official serial version of the new sedan Kizashi. The car will appear on the North American market by the end of the year and production will take place in the company’s new plant in Sagara (Japan). Initially, the new Suzuki sedan to be offered only with 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine which is combined with standard 6-stage mechanical gearbox, but the option is available CVT transmission. Currently the Japanese did not reveal other details about the unit, but announced that developed a hybrid version of the model to be introduced in a very near future. Suzuki Kizashi is built on an entirely new platform and will offer both before and also with the four-wheel drive. In its standard equipment includes electronic stability program, anti-locking braking system with electronic brake force distribution and dynamic control system that improves the driving of the driver.
