Chevrolet Captiva MOONLANDEROn the occasion of 40th anniversary of the first steps of man on the moon, the German company Fahrmitgas, which specializes in the production of gas systems, has developed a special version of the Chevrolet Captiva. The car bearing the name MOONLANDER, will be produced in limited series of 40 specimens, all of whom will be white body combined with black front cover and graphics inspired by the mission of Apollo 11. Chevrolet Captiva MOONLANDER also received 20-inch wheels and reduced suspension off the car by 35 millimeters to the road. In the interior no changes being observed only with the serial number plate of vehicles and equipment is included and iPod. The price of the Captiva MOONLANDER starts in Germany from 25 590 euros, as the engines, which will be offered are two.

Chevrolet is testing the new Volt

Chevrolet VoltThe American group General Motors, which declared bankruptcy and was subsequently restructuring in a new company with the same name, began testing pre-productional version of the hybrid Chevrolet Volt. Tests are conducted in real urban conditions, close to the company’s test center in the city of Warren, state of Michigan. Scheduled to be produced 80 such vehicle Volt, which will continue to be tested by placing the serial model. Chevrolet Volt is equipped with electric motors, a power 150 h.p. whose power comes from lithium-ion battery rechargeable for 3 hours with voltage of 220 volts, with only its energy, the vehicle can pass 64 kilometers. Volt is equipped with 1.4-liter petrol unit whose function is to refilled battery.
