By Opel decided to demonstrate the reliability of its electric model Ampera, drive by car on foot from the town of Rüsselsheim, in the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. From Renault announced plans to develop a serial version of one of four electrical concepts that were presented at the exhibition in Frankfurt in September, as sales of the car is scheduled to start in 2012. The South Korean company Hyundai introduced at Frankfurt complete all-electric version of the i10, which in 2010 will begin to sell in the local market. Volvo completed the development of electric hatchback version of the C30, which will present the exhibition Innovation for Life. This will happen immediately after the car saloon in Frankfurt, reported sources from the company to the British magazine Autocar. Prototype which will present the exhibition will be fully functional, as it will make testing of motor and whole electro-mobile. Since Volvo has not yet reported more detailed information on electric motor, battery traveled miles with a load and more. According to the publication Autocar even not yet decided whether this electro-mobile will be produced in series. The final decision will be taken after the trial period during which the conceptual shift car. If everything goes successfully, the first serial electro-mobiles based on the Volvo C30 will be marketed at the end of 2011 or early 2012.
