It differs from the standard model with improved aerodynamics, a system for regenerating energy from the brakes, start / stop function and light alloy wheels, clad with low resistance tires. This modification is the most economical in the entire 35-year history of the model, as stated by the manufacturer, the average fuel consumption is 3.8l/100km. mileage in that extra drive to fall to 3.4l/100km. and CO2 exhaust emissions are only 99gr/km. 6 engine of the Golf BlueMotion is 1.6-liter TDI, a power 105 h.p. and drive is transmitted to the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
